Do you want to prepare a perfect fluffy quinoa? It is indeed so simple once you know the right way to cook it. Read below to learn more about it.
Method –
- Rinse the quinoa very well for at least 30 seconds and then drain it. This removes the bitterness on the outside of the quinoa.
- Heat a saucepan. Boil water and add the rinsed quinoa over a low simmer. Keep stirring it time to time until the quinoa absorbs all of the water.
- When that step is done, remove the saucepan from the heat. Cover it so that the quinoa gets steamed for about 5 minutes. This step allows the quinoa time to pop open into little curlicues, so it’s nice and fluffy.
- Now uncover the lid and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Season with salt and serve.
